iPhone 6 Plus vs HTC One M8:

Both devices were released this year. HTC One M8 was first to come out in March. The iPhone 6 Plus, which is known to be Apple's largest iPhone to date, followed in September.
Gamerheadlines said in its review that "the HTC One M8 is one of the very rare handsets that provide excellent build equally matching with that of Apple's iPhone 6," but is there more to HTC One M8 enough to get it ahead?
Weighing 172 grams, the iPhone 6 Plus is bigger, heavier and thinner than the HTC One M8. The former has a 5.5-inch display on its 7.1mm-thin body. The latter is at the 160 grams scale, with display and thhicnkess at 5 inches and 9.4mm respectively.
The two have the same HD screen resolution—1080p – although iPhone has relatively lesser ppi (pixels per inch). The iPhone is at 401 and HTC is at 441 ppi, meaning HTC users are in for more detailed displays but the iPhone 6 Plus is not left behind.

Apple's flagship phone has a better snapper than its rival. The iPhone 6 Plus rear shooter is 8 megapixels, doubling that of HTC One M8's 4 UltraPixels—ultrapixls help in capturing photos in low light. HTC also integrated a method where users can switch from the rear and front camera while shooting. However, Gotta Be Mobile explains how incredibly fast the iPhone's focus method is, making it the site's choice in terms of camera quality.
The iPhone Plus 6 is powered by the tech titan's new Apple A8 processor clocking at 1.4 GHz on top of its 1GB RAM. Its HTC rival has twice what's iPhone 6 Plus has inside. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor at 2.3 GHz and a 2GB RAM. For the battery life, Tom's Guide's review showed that iPhone 6 Plus lasted 10 hours, almost two hours longer than the M8.
In buying an iPhone 6 Plus, users can choose from 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB with Silver, Gold, Space Gray for color options. HTC One M8 only offers 32GB storage capacity, but is expandable with its built-in card slot. Colors include Gunmetal Grey, Amber Gold and Glacial Silver.
Now the prices. The Apple phone attaches a $499 price tage for the 128GB version, $399 for 64GB and $299 for 16GB. The HTC phone is at $820.
